Why lodos exists

Software should work for you. Not watch you.

A founder鈥檚 whole company lives in fragments: keys in a password manager, decisions in a doc, tasks in another tool, customer data somewhere in the cloud. Every one of those tools wants your data on their servers. Most of them want to train on it.

We think that鈥檚 backwards. The most capable AI in history is here, and the price of using it shouldn鈥檛 be handing over your secrets.

So lodos keeps everything on your machine. Your vault, your wiki, your tasks, encrypted before they ever hit the disk. The AI gets the context it needs to actually run your company, and a hard wall between it and your credentials. It can use your Stripe key. It can never see it.

This isn鈥檛 a setting you toggle or a promise in a policy. It鈥檚 the architecture. There is no tool that returns a plaintext secret, and the build fails if anyone tries to add one. The value of lodos is as much in what it refuses to do as in what it does.

You keep the judgment. The AI takes the execution. Your company stays yours.

The most important features of lodos are the ones it will never have. No tool that reads a secret. No command the AI can run on your machine. No model we proxy. We wrote the build to fail if we ever break that promise, so it can鈥檛 become a promise we quietly drop.

Local-first. Zero-knowledge. Yours.
